Our mission: to attract customers. To this end, we develop customised strategies and measures with our customers in focus throughout the customer journey. Working closely with internal colleagues, agencies, Google and Facebook, we optimise our performance, branding, O2O and user profiling campaigns with energy and enthusiasm. Our ultimate goal? Targeting the right people at the right time with relevant content – across all digital marketing channels. In this way, we are able to strengthen the “Ernsting’s family” brand and ensure that as many customers as possible visit us every day in our online shop, on our app and in our stores!

Do you love photography, are you interested in fashion and would you like to present your creative ideas on a large stage? In our Photo Production and Creation team, you will be responsible for designing and producing the visual appearance of our articles in our web shop. With feeling for every pixel and an eye for the bigger picture, we design authentic imagery for an emotional shopping experience every day.

WHAT DO WE DO IN THE MEDIA DESIGN TEAM?

Our tasks in the Media Design team vary a lot. Besides the daily business, we participate in a range of small and large projects. The strategic development of the online shop is also one of our tasks. We work closely with the other departments such as Marketing and Corporate Communications in our day to day work. Collaborating with and managing our agencies is also part of our job.

A lot of young people work here. And those who are no longer so young have stayed young at heart.

ONE OF MY PERSONAL HIGHLIGHTS

I’ll never forget the live launch of our new online shop – that was something very special. Everyone was cheering and was there, if not in person then in spirit, on the weekend of the changeover. It’s so much fun to be part of projects like these!

HOW I JOINED ERNSTING’S FAMILY

I visited Ernsting’s family in Coesfeld-Lette for the first time as part of the “Project Future” business open day. That was in 2016. At the time I was extremely surprised at how large, open and friendly the company head office is – I had no idea that it would be like that! After that, I decided that I definitely wanted to apply for an apprenticeship at Ernsting’s family.

I find the company culture here really special, and everyone is open and friendly.

FIRST AN APPRENTICESHIP, THEN A JOB, NOW A DEGREE

In my apprenticeship as a Wholesale and Retail Specialist, I decided relatively quickly that I wanted to focus on digital business, because the work there is very varied, exciting and always changing. New and varied tasks for digital projects each day and daily business in which you take responsibility – it certainly proved to be an interesting challenge for me! After I was able to shorten my apprenticeship to two and a half years, I started working as an Assistant for Web Analytics. It was a great time, I quickly felt like a permanent member of the team and was able to complete my own projects. I have always wanted to study alongside my job though, so in September 2019 I started a part-time degree in business administration and business psychology. I was supported by my supervisor and my team right from the start and together we developed a concept that allowed me to optimally combine my job and my studies.
