At our headquarters in Coesfeld-Lette and our logistics sites, we can offer you a range of interesting opportunities to gain an initial insight into the world of work in various areas of our company on an internship!
IN WHICH AREAS ARE INTERNSHIPS AVAILABLE FOR SCHOOL STUDENTS?
School internships are possible in almost all departments of the company. It's important to us that the department of your choice can provide you with intensive supervision and support. Please use our application form to enter your preferred department and period for the internship. We'll check individually if we can offer you the internship at Ernsting's family.
FAQ ON INTERNSHIPS FOR SCHOOL STUDENTS
In addition to school internships lasting several weeks, one-day internships or voluntary school student internships are also available during the holidays. The Easter and autumn holidays are the best times for holiday internships – in certain cases, a student internship may also be possible during the summer holidays.

It's not possible to apply purely by telephone. However, we'll be happy to answer any questions you may have about an internship at Ernsting's family by telephone.
You should ideally apply for your internship six months before you would like to start. You can find out how to apply on this page.
You can usually complete an internship in every area/occupation at Ernsting’s family, but this is always assessed on a case-by-case basis. If we are unable to ensure the adequate support for you in the respective area at the moment because an intern has already been accepted there or the whole team is not available when you want to come for your internship, we regret that we will not be able to offer you an internship. We always want to ensure that you can get the support you need and get to know the area/occupation in detail.

OUR OFFER FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS
As an intern with us you can supplement your university studies with practical experience which you will gain by completing interesting individual tasks and small projects. Over a period of three to six months you will be given the opportunity to learn about our processes and working methods and to actively contribute to the operational side of our business. We offer both compulsory and voluntary internships in various areas of the company.
FAQ ON INTERNSHIPS FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS
It makes no difference to us as to whether you want to complete a voluntary or compulsory internship – you will always be welcome here. We will check on a case-by-case basis as to whether an internship is possible during the time period that you would like.
We will be happy if you are available for an internship for at least three or preferably six months. This will give you plenty of time to really get to know the individual processes in your department and to take on your own first projects. You can find the corresponding periods for the internship positions in the respective advertisements on our careers page.
We look forward to receiving your application documents, which should include a cover letter, your CV, your most recent school reports and your current academic transcripts.
We are happy to support students with the completion of their final year projects. It is possible to combine a final year project with an internship, but this isn’t a must! Send us your speculative application and we will check whether we are able to support you with your chosen topic.
ARE YOU INTERESTED IN AN INTERNSHIP IN SALES?
We’re happy to welcome school students who want to learn about life in our business to work at one of our 2,000 stores in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. Internships through educational institutions, as part of work experience programmes, for example, are also possible.
