Goods are delivered from all over the world to our modern distribution centres in Coesfeld-Lette and Klieken and are then picked according to demand. We are responsible for a superb logistical effort that we handle exclusively in-house. We are regularly faced with new and exciting challenges, which we solve as a team. GOODS RECEIVING DEPARTMENT

New goods arrive at our logistics locations each day. They are received and prepared by the team in the Goods Receiving department for their further journey through our logistics processes.

PICKING FOR STORES

Starting from our logistics locations in Coesfeld-Lette and Klieken, we supply a total of 1,925 stores with new goods every two days. Here, the goods are prepared and forwarded to our Shipping department.

INTERNET LOGISTICS

Approximately 5 million internet packages are sent out annually through our Internet Picking department. Equipped with the latest technology, we get the goods on their way to our customers as quickly as possible!

MY CAREER MOVE INTO LOGISTICS

I worked as a hairdresser before I started at Ernsting’s family in April 2019. Since then, I have never regretted making a new start. I have had the opportunity to advance and Ernsting’s family really thinks of everything, including family planning. The work/life balance here is excellent. For mothers there are maternity shifts with fewer hours and there is even a childcare centre on the company premises.

SINCE THEN, I HAVE NEVER REGRETTED DECIDING TO MAKE A NEW START.

MY TASKS

I started in the Picking department with an induction in the area of fashion. I continued my training in other areas so that I was able to fill in elsewhere if necessary. I have been taking on additional tasks in the Service department for some time and I am also responsible for looking after my own section. I make sure that my section is always supplied with goods and that everything is in order. My job is to make sure that the pickers can pass through without any problems or disruptions.

The teamwork here is great. “I was warmly welcomed into the team and quickly developed a friendly relationship with several of the people on my shift. There’s always time to have a laugh at work and we sometimes even meet up outside work. The fun and the pleasant interactions with the rest of the team are definitely reasons why I enjoy going to work so much.
