Our apprenticeship application process always starts in the August the year before you would start. From then on, you will also find the currently available apprenticeships under our current job vacancies.
Have you found an apprenticeship that you like the sound of? Excellent! Then please send us your complete application documents, including a cover letter, your CV and your last two school reports (if possible, further reports and certificates) via our online portal.
You will receive a notification from us when your application has been received. After we have looked at your documents, we will then give you our feedback about your application.
Ideally, you should apply for your apprenticeship one year in advance. Our application process starts in August and the vacancies are then posted on our job vacancies page.
We appoint apprentices to a different number of positions each year. This is because we only look for apprentices for some occupations once every three years (i.e. only one apprentice per cycle). For the exact details of when we will be offering which apprenticeships next, please visit our apprenticeshipspage.
You can find the school-related requirements directly on the apprenticeship information page. For some, a good secondary school leaving certificate is the minimum requirement, for others, a (technical) university entrance qualification is required.
Our apprentices are supervised from the start to the end of their apprenticeship by trained instructors who support them with their professional and personal development. Their colleagues in the departments are also always available to offer advice and support.
The Learning and Development team in the Human Resources department also acts as a central coordinator for everything to do with the apprenticeships. The team will be there from your job interview to the assignment planning through to the events for apprentices, and you can contact them at any time if you have any questions.
You can only develop further with constructive feedback - this also applies to our apprenticeships. This means regular feedback sessions are an integral part of our apprenticeships. These take place either when you change department, or if your apprenticeship focuses on one department, at regular intervals.
