As an Electronics Technician for Operating Technology, you will get to know electronics at Ernsting’s family especially well, as you will have the opportunity to get involved in many processes. You can expect to be given a wide range of tasks in the maintenance, servicing and testing of our technical systems and equipment. These include, for example, our fully automated high-bay warehouse, which has room for over 20,000 pallets of goods.

During your apprenticeship you will mainly work in our Buildings and Facility Management department. There, you will be jointly responsible for the flawless operation, maintenance and servicing of our technical equipment. We will also draw up an individual shift plan for you which will also include shifts in other areas. In addition to working in buildings and facility management, you will get to know the related areas and our logistics system better.
You will also learn all the necessary technical and background knowledge that you will need to work as an Electronics Technicians for Operating Technology at the vocational college and the training centre. The apprenticeship is rounded off with regular feedback meetings, internal seminars, events and workshops.
