WHAT AWAITS YOU IN YOUR APPRENTICESHIP

(ALMOST) WITHOUT HUMAN INTERVENTION

Our high-bay warehouse is fully automated, which usually means it doesn’t require any physical interventions from humans. You and your colleagues are the important exception to the rule. In the event of malfunctions and technical problems, you will ensure that our high-bay warehouse gets moving again by servicing and maintaining it with the necessary technical measures.

ACCURACY REQUIRED

Our technical facilities and equipment not only include the high-bay warehouse, but also additional conveyor technology, lifts and lifting platforms, doors and gates, as well as smaller pieces of equipment. These must be checked regularly by you and your colleagues and recorded in inspection and maintenance lists. Precision and accuracy are of paramount importance to ensure a safe workplace.

UP HIGH

To be able to maintain our high-bay warehouse and intervene in the event of a problem, you will sometimes find yourself at heights. In the climbing training during your apprenticeship, you will learn how to keep a cool head when you’re a high above the ground. To be able to do this, you shouldn’t be prone to dizziness or scared of heights.

EFFICIENT AND SUSTAINABLE

Our technical systems shouldn’t just work smoothly, but also in an energy-efficient way. This is why our Electronics Technicians for Operating Technology are constantly optimising them to make them as sustainable as possible.

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

In addition to your apprenticeship, we also support you with your personal development. You will learn how to cooperate and communicate with colleagues and external partners in a trusting way, how to organise your tasks, and how to act independently and in a future-oriented way. Your personal development is also complemented by seminars, smaller projects and events.

HAVE YOUR SAY, PARTICIPATE, SHAPE THINGS

Your ideas and opinions are always welcome. We look forward to discussing with you and hearing new input from you! So that you can contribute directly at Ernsting’s family, you will also be given your own small projects and learn to take on an increasing degree of responsibility for your tasks. You can also help shape your apprenticeship individually and together with other apprentices.

Opportunities for a permanent role and further development

SO, YOU’VE FINISHED YOUR APPRENTICESHIP, NOW WHAT?!

After your apprenticeship, there are many paths you can take in your future career. When you finish your apprenticeship, we will take the time to look at what the next steps in your career could be together with you.
